Best Family Beaches in Boracay
Boracay with the Family: A Tropical Playground for All Ages
Boracay has long been one of the Philippines' most beloved island destinations, and for good reason — its calm turquoise waters and powdery white sand make it an exceptional choice for families travelling with children. The island was revitalised after a government-mandated rehabilitation in 2018, and today offers clean, well-maintained beaches with excellent facilities. Family travellers will find plenty of services, restaurants, and activities that cater to all age groups. With short domestic flights from Manila and Cebu, getting to Boracay is straightforward even with little ones in tow.

Top Family Beaches in Boracay
White Beach Station 1
The northernmost section of White Beach is the calmest and most family-friendly stretch on the island. The water here is shallow and the seabed gently sloping, making it safe for young children to wade and splash without concern. Fewer vendors and bars crowd this section compared to Stations 2 and 3, giving families a more relaxed atmosphere. Sunbeds and parasols are available for hire, and several family-oriented resorts line the beachfront with direct access to the sand.
Bulabog Beach
On the eastern side of the island, Bulabog Beach faces a protected lagoon that offers remarkably calm, shallow water — ideal for children who are nervous about waves. This windward side of Boracay is popular with kitesurfers during the Amihan season, but outside peak wind periods the lagoon is a peaceful swimming spot. The shallow reef along the edges provides a gentle introduction to snorkelling for older children, and the beach itself is far less crowded than White Beach.
D'Mall Area Beach
The beach fronting Boracay's main commercial hub, D'Mall, puts everything a family could need within easy walking distance. Restaurants serving Western and Filipino food are steps from the sand, public restrooms are readily available, and the beach here is still sandy and swimmable. After a swim, children can explore the D'Mall shops and activity kiosks, while parents enjoy a cold drink at one of the many beachside cafés. Medical clinics and pharmacies are also close by, providing peace of mind for travelling families.
