Punta Croce is a rocky headland south of Rovinj with no signage, no facilities, and no organised access — it appears on no tourist map and receives virtually no visitors. The swimming is from flat limestone platforms into deep, clear water above a rocky bottom rich with marine life. The approach from the coastal path requires some route-finding through maquis scrub, but the reward is complete solitude in clear water with Rovinj's campanile visible to the north.
