The beach has a single seasonal beach bar and nothing else: no sun-lounger rental, no tour boats, no jet skis. The water is exceptionally clear and the setting is wild and forested. Zlatni Rat Eastern Tip — Early Morning

The eastern arm of Zlatni Rat is less visited than the western, and arriving before 7 AM — before the first excursion boats from Split and Hvar disgorge their passengers — gives you access to the beach at its most elemental. The pebble tongue extends into the sea, Hvar sits as a purple silhouette across the channel, and the pine forest behind fills with birdsong. By 10 AM the same spot will be dense with sunbathers.
