After another quiet day wandering around Agra, I noticed some people stopping their tuk tuks to put food and even water on top of the walls, which already had special containers, where you could see birds, parrots and squirrels eating.

I rode the metro, which in Agra is practically empty, I don’t know if it’s because Indians are afraid of heights, since it runs on a viaduct up high and has all its pillars painted, or because it’s too calm for them and they prefer to be in the middle of the traffic chaos.

I also saw some craftsmen working white marble to make sculptures and some sculptures of animals made of wood and other materials.

At the end of the afternoon it was finally time to say goodbye to Agra and catch a train back to New Delhi. Outside the station there was a man with a fish stall who had a blade sticking up and cut the fish by pressing the fish against the blade and hitting it with a stick. You also see lots of people fitting wheels on suitcases, zips on backpacks and shining shoes.

As for the journey, for the 2nd time, the train left 15 min late and arrived 1 hour later than scheduled, which isn’t bad around here. And I took what they call here the “Super fast express”, which took 4 hours to cover 190 km. During the trip I also had some odd moments at the station while waiting for my train.

The trains arrive, people get off and on and, when everything is calm and the train pulls out, people start shooting out of the kiosks where they were calmly buying things and drinking chai to catch the train already moving, I even saw one running in flip-flops with a tray full of cups of chai and he managed to catch the train.
